the obama administration has been focussing on the first half of the website. the half that the consumer will see. like you said, you go and look at your plans, and send your application in. you think of the website, the second half being where the application goes from your computer to the insurance company. they know your name, social security number and whether they paid your premium. that half is not working as well as anyone hoped, the obama administration or the insurance companies. they are concerned that you, as the consumer will thing you have coverage, but if the information didn't get through, you are not covered. the administration are working on the problem, trying to get it repaired. they don't provide specifics in conference calls. it's definitely something to watch for. it could be a problem if it's not repaired by the time people get their coverage. >> then there's the side of how doctors get paid through the system after january 1st. if you want the coverage, you have to sign up by january 23rdrd. with the 21 days left, will they be able to fi

and they've succeeded with the obama administration. that old you cited tends to indicate perhaps the american public is more realistic about what this regime in tehran is up to. but i think the iranians have taken advantage of an acute psychological insight they had which is once you pass an inflection point on the sanctions, that is to say once you begin easing the sanctions, it's very hard to ratchet them back up again. and people -- the administration says, oh, but if iran doesn't comply with its obligations, the sanctions will come back up, don't count on it. number one, the geneva agreement's poorly written, it's kind of an embarrassment for the administration. it's filled with ambiguities and loopholes. and number two, the kind of compliance is not the mahmoud ahmadinejad style, it's going to be a little bit here and a little bit there and a little bit in the other place, very hard to use that kind of grinding away of the terms of the agreement to get people enthusiastic about going back to sanctions. iran understood that, i don'

what people tell you is they're really afraid that president obama, this administration is out to outlaw guns, that the background checks are just a first step. any passage of law is a first step and he's going to take away our weapons, violate the constitution. that continues to be the impetus for the sales, apparently. that is a real spark. >> i basically think that's what it is, the fact that people have a great fear in their mind that they will not be able to buy these guns later on. >> i want to pick up on the word fear. why do people have this fear? people have been primed f r years to believe that government is going to come get our gun, right? and now there's this scary black president who is also leading the government. they're going to come get our guns. two years in virginia, you see the sale of nearly 1 million guns in one state in a two-year period. to me that's all about the priming that people receive certain messages and they're afraid -- they accept these messages even though, to my way of saying it, there's really no evidence to support it. >>> silver line delay, metro

there have been -- barack obama is the 11th u.s. president to have to decide how to deal with either fidel or now raul castro. you can understand the congresswoman. look where she comes from. she's a cuban-american. she comes from a community, many of them refugees, many of them exiles, many with painful person stories. so you have to understand her politics as well. but she would be the first to tell you that even in her community, there's a generational split now. if you talk to the older members, they want the sanctions in place until the last minute, until the castros are gone. a lot of the younger members of the community, especially those involved in the business community say, look, this hasn't worked. like it or not, we've been doing it since the eisenhower days, ratcheting it up here and there, so let's try something new. so we live in a world where everything in an instant becomes political. they say this was just good manners on a day of unity and reflecting on a great leader. the politics part comes with the territory. w
